Admissions
Admission is granted in classes Preparatory till 3rd and if seats are
available for classes 4th till 8th. Admission to class 11th is granted only for
girls and is based on past performance along with tests and interview.
Classes for 11th and 12th class girls are held separately as part of
THE BADHANI WOMEN'S ACADEMY
Process of conducting entrance tests for the next year starts
in the month of December.
DPS BADHANI is always very pleased to receive enquiries from parents, without any commitment on the parents part.
Parents are however advised to enquire about the school thoroughly from sources
who are well versed with the functioning of the school. Before any student can be considered for admission, parents are requested to submit the required documents and follow the admission procedure.
Selected candidates will be intimated and given provisional admission. Selection is based strictly on the performance of the student only. In case a student is put on waiting list for admission, it does not carry with it a guarantee of admission. Admission
in the boarding house is granted only if a child is seen fit to stay
independently in the boarding community and is subject to the child continuing
to fulfill this aspect.
Candidates are given admission after payment of the necessary fees and after going through the medical check up and personal interview successfully.
New students start reporting by 10th of April.
Fee Structure : The total out go for the boarding house in the
session 2008-2009 is:-
BOYS
1)
Rs. 134,000/- for boys of classes PREP to 10th. First Bill-- Rs
84000/- 2nd Bill Rs 44000/-
DRAFTS to be made payable in the name of "Dalhousie public school Badhani".
Along with first bill, Rs 6000/- draft payable to "The Badhani women's
Academy."
2) Rs.
154,000/- for boys of classes 10+1 to 10+2. First Bill-- Rs 940000/-
2nd Bill Rs 54000/-
DRAFTS to be made payable in the name of "Dalhousie public school Badhani".
Along with first bill, Rs 6000/- draft payable to "The Badhani women's
Academy."
GIRLS
Girls are residents of THE
BADHANI WOMEN'S ACADEMY where facilities and atmosphere exclusive and
appropriate for girls has been provided. Their fee is as follows:-

a) Rs 47000/- DRAFT
to be made payable in the name
of "Dalhousie public school BADHANI".
b) Rs 82000/-DRAFT
to be made payable in the name
of "The Badhani women's Academy".
YEARLY FEE FOR
CLASSES +1 AND +2
a) Rs 62000/- DRAFT to be payable at
PATHANKOT in the name
of "Dalhousie public school BADHANI".
b) Rs 94000/- DRAFT to be payable at
PATHANKOT in the name
of "The Badhani women's Academy".
The above said charges include
tuition, boarding and lodging, school related clothing needs of the child, basic
first aid at school and stationery. Tuck and special dinner outings in the
restaurant called THE OUTPOST are also provided by school to all deserving
students and at the discretion of the administration. SEATS ONCE ACCEPTED ARE
FOR THE WHOLE YEAR AND FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. AN AGREEMENT IN THIS REGARD IS
TO BE SIGNED BY THE PARENT. |
