Sh. M.S.Grewal the FOUNDER of Dalhousie Public Schools at BADHANI and at Dalhousie, from a very humble start established the school at Dalhousie, India. Shortage of space and a small campus at Dalhousie motivated him to build an institution on a larger scale. After quitting active involvement at Dalhousie and after handing over that school to the Vice-Chairperson Mrs. C.K.Dhillon,  he put his dream into shape and the institution with a huge campus at BADHANI was born. The spirit and vision of Dalhousie public school came with the  founder to BADHANI - India. The school has classes from Preparatory till 10+2. Dalhousie Public School, BADHANI is a school with a great environment. Whatever a boarding school of today should be, exists at BADHANI.
